Stop Motion

This lego stop motion movie has the feel of a computer animated movie. The cuts between shots are very clean. This stop motion movie was made very professorially, the shear amount of time spent creating this 27 minute long stop motion movie is just amazing not just the time spent taking the pictures and editing the film but the time spent creating the scenes out of lego. The camera angles work very well in the movie. One of the most amazing things as that I noticed was how well the body parts moved it really look like a real person moving.

Clouds

Check out this awesome picture of clouds I found on google. I really like the way the clouds create rhythm. The still picture still looks like it is moving this is create by the clouds flow or the lines the curvy lines and the ridged ones. I can't explain in words why this picture captivates me so much I think it many be because of the colours

Chess written

Scan
Copy stand picture
Picture outside in low light
Hey everyone today I'm going to talk about my chess piece. In this post I'm going to talk about what I did in the drawing. To upload this picture to the PC I used three techniques scanning, copy stand and taking the picture outside in low light. I found that the best way to take the picture was out side in low light, but you can only use this method on a sunny or dry day because if the ground is wet it will destroy your picture. The copy stand can cause your picture to look shiny. Finally scanning does not always get the full picture sometimes you are missing edges.

When I was drawing my chess piece I tried to create movement by making my chess piece look like it was falling and being caught by the shadows. I created a 3D looking chess piece by blending the shadows around the chess piece. Using gradation I warp my shadow around the concave. I used thick and thin lines I made it so all the lines lead you to one point the chess piece/focal point. This created movement towards the focal point. In conclusion I created a visually interesting picture drawing the persons eye to the chess piece and leave people thinking about what the Black Shadows are\

Its beautiful

I took this picture 2 years at Niagara Falls.
I like this picture because of the repetition in the white lines. It also has a weird looking pattern. Another thing I liked was the bright neon colours it real draws the eye in. I would say the focal point is the thick red line and if you look at it the lines look like abstract faces. I really cant describe the other reason why I love this picture it just really grabs my imagination.
My picture looks awesome because I used leading lines and framing. The leading lines was shown by the faint blue line down the middle leading to my focal point. My focal point was the person                  ( http://nikesonmyfeetcyberarts.blogspot.ca/ ) . I also created depth by creating blur around the person/focal point. It also looks like you are looking down a tunnel. I framed my picture by putting the top half of my focal point in the goal post box. I cant really explain why I really like the picture but it really captures my mind and imagination.

Rule of thirds

RULE OF THIRDS

http://www.silverlight.co.uk/tutorials/compose_expose/thirds.html

Rule of thirds is used to compile the plain of the photo. The rule of thirds is used by most if not all photographers. The rule of thirds divides photo into thirds and there are four intersecting points on the grid. These points are most likely to be the focal points or where the eye is drawn to in the photo. Photographers will have this rule in mind when taking the photos to create a in-depth image.

LOGOS GM LOGO

The GM logo is a simple typographic logo. The shape is a square which shows stability. The lines are very straight and confident which is saying the the company is reliable, strong and a safe investment. The colours that are used it the logo are blue and white which can be very calm and peaceful. I would think this is targeted at people looking for something reliable simple and going to last them a while without having to many problems.

The Dodge logo is a pictographic logo. The shape is a upside down Triangle  which normally creates the idea of unstable power but by using curves instead of strait lines it creates the idea of stable power. Then the picture of the ram creates the look  of strength, stability, power and something that wont quit. I would say the target of this logo is younger people as they want some thing powerful and cool looking.  They don't really care how reliable it is they just want something that's going to impress.

In school works

Barns, A.Y. Jackson

This painting is somewhat realistic. As I can tell it is a barn with the sun setting in the background on a winter day.

The painting feels warm because of the light use in the painting. The use of the brush is very soft. The texture looks soft because of the curves in the painting as the are on sharp edges to give it a rough look and feel. The painting feels calm and happy.

This painting feels warm and happy. I think the artist was trying to show that even old and broken things can look happy and make people feel happy and calm.

Formalism
The Emphasis in this painting is the barn, due to the use of the colours to the rest of the painting it is much darker and sad. The movement in the painting brings the eye to the barn. The artist does this by making all the curves and lines center at the barn, this makes the eye draw straight to the barn. A continuation of the start of this review is about the hue in the painting. The hue creates a warm happy feel in the cool desalt environment the artist painted. Contrast in the Art work is the barn as it i the only man made object in the art work. The contrast of the dark colours on the light background really brings the focus to the man made object. The curvy lines interact well with the straight lines on the page once again drawing the eye straight to the barn or the man made object

Adobe illustrator Rotate Tool

Hey CyberARTIST Today im going to talk about the "Rotate Tool".You could use this to Rotate a Image you have made and want to have it upside down or anything else. Using this Tool was very simple to use. I would give the video 7-10 I found it easy to understand and the tool was easy to use. The video could have been better if the creator had made the video much crisper it would have been better. This was the only thing that bugged me about the video. Here is a link to the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mj6zwNXihHk . Here is my examples of me using the Rotate Tool.
